Do blue eyes get more glare when trying to hit a baseball in the bright sunlight? Read what all-star Josh Hamilton has to say about this topic.  This problem has been around for along time.  Nike and Bausch & Lomb got together and developed the Nike Maxsight contact lens (which are no longer available on the market)  I had several baseball players who loved the lenses during the bright daylight of the came.  The problem is that many of the games start in sunlight and end during the dark of night.  Players would have to go to the locker room during the game to change out to clear lenses....which was a big hassle.  Because of this reason, most baseball players, including those that wear contacts, prefer to wear sunglasses instead of a tinted lens
